Thomas & Piron aumenta em 10% o volume de negócios

The group closed the year with solid growth, up 10% to 954 million euros. It is now stepping up its commitment to Portugal with flagship projects.

Thomas & Piron closed 2025 with positive results, with the Group posting consolidated turnover of 954 million euros, 10% more than in 2024 (865 million euros). EBITDA reached 74 million euros, reflecting growth of 23% on the previous year.

According to the statement released, Thomas & Piron chose to retain its teams, keep building and prepare for the recovery, which reportedly enabled the group to respond to rising demand for completed homes or homes at an advanced stage of construction.

The company has also diversified its activity into new construction segments, including student residences, offices, hotels and the rehabilitation of public buildings.

Olivier Beguin, CEO of the Thomas & Piron Group, said: "The 2025 results are the outcome of the decisions taken in recent years, of our ability to anticipate market changes and to continually adapt our offer to clients' expectations. This agility, combined with the commitment of our teams, allows us to keep growing, even in an environment that remains demanding."

Group steps up commitment to Portugal

Thomas & Piron has also been consolidating its activity in Portugal since 2018. The three projects currently under development account for around 130,000 square metres of construction and approximately 1,000 homes.

In Vila Nova de Gaia, Gaia Hills has already sold 75% of its apartments; in the Lisbon Metropolitan Area, the Clarissas development in Sacavém is Thomas & Piron's largest urban development scheme in Portugal and provides for the construction of more than 700 apartments.

Docks Matosinhos is another significant landmark in the group's operations in Portugal, with the residential component fully sold.

David Carreira, Country Manager of Thomas & Piron Portugal, added: "Portugal is today a strategic market for Thomas & Piron. We found a country with structural demand for quality housing and we believe we can help meet that challenge through sustainable projects that are well integrated into the cities and designed for people. The results achieved show that this vision is being recognised by the market and give us the confidence to keep growing consistently."

In the Group's long-standing markets, Belgium again posted a very solid performance, reaching a record 689 houses sold and 300 apartments placed on the market, while in Luxembourg the property market has begun a gradual recovery, reflected in growing demand for completed properties or those in the final stage of construction.

Outlook for 2026

Despite challenges linked to interest rates, movements in construction costs and the growing need for urban rehabilitation and energy efficiency, Thomas & Piron looks to 2026 “with confidence”.

The Group will continue to pursue a “strategy based on diversification, innovation and closeness to clients”. In Portugal, this strategy will involve consolidating the projects currently under development and continuing to identify new investment opportunities.
